1976 Pakistani Velvet Kaftan

A gorgeous velvet kaftan from 1976. Done with a rich inky black velvet with vibrant embroidery in red, green and white. Each embroidered circle houses a little mirror pieces. Wide sleeves with a blouson bodice. Marked 100% Art Silk. Amazing for a fall wedding or cocktail party!

Measurements are as follows (Shown clipped at waist on mannequin.) Approximate size medium.

Bust: Somewhat open but up to 38" comfortably.

Waist: 28"

Hips (measured 8" under middle of waist band) : 46" 

Length shoulder to middle of waist band: 15"

Length middle of waist to hem: 42"

Length of sleeve: 15"

Excellent – The piece shows typical, although minor, signs of wear. Some darkening to a few of the mirror pieces.
