1893 14KT Gold and Emerald Studs

A true heirloom piece! 14kt gold emerald stud earrings with April 18, 1893 patent. The patent reflects the original practice of listing the full patent date (in month, day and last two of year) rather than a four-digit year. Done in an early post version with open back emeralds. Earring backs are 14kt gold but are not quite as old as the earrings themselves. Have been checked over by a jeweler and cleaned professionally. Antique box not included.

Condition: Excellent antique condition with minor signs of wear. Overall fantastic condition and have been verified and tested by a jeweler.
