1940's Checkerboard Purse

A great 1940's purse. Done with a wooden handle. Checkerboard design with black, chocolate, kelly green and crimson. The side is chevron with matching colors. Inside in an iridescent brown taffeta. 

Measurements are as follows:

Handle: 8" at longest X .75" width

Bag: 10" width at widest, 8.5" height and 1.25" depth

Condition: Excellent – The piece shows typical, although minor, signs of wear. Some very light scratches to wooden handles under close inspection.
